We are offering Audio Described performances during our 2024 season of Yuldea, for people who are blind or have low vision, as well as those with sensory processing disorders, autism, or people who simply require some assistance to experience the spirit of the story as fully as possible. Physical and visual elements, and their relation to Culture and Story are described through a pre-recorded commentary that is woven into the music and sound of the production.

Important Information
1. The Audio Description is a spoken word commentary describing the physical, visual, and textural aspects of the production, interwoven with the references to Cultural underpinning of the Stories being told. Audio description is relayed via a free receiver which you can collect from the foyer when you arrive at the theatre. We request that you arrive 20 to 30 minutes before the performance starts.
2. Prior to the performance, ticket holders (and/or carer companions) will receive, via email, a short recording plus written document describing sections of the production that cannot be audio described during the performance due to cultural protocols and/or sections of loud music, vocals, or sound.
